Eunchae Kang grew up in Metairie, Louisiana, just outside of New Orleans but now lives in Fairfax, Virginia. She graduated from Amherst College in May 2026 with a degree in neuroscience. Eunchae is working in Dr. Gord Fishell's lab at the Broad to study the different factors, such as genetics, that contribute to the development and differentiation of interneurons in the cortex.
