BK Kadriu
Pronouns: She/her
I am a first-generation Albanian. I received my BSc from University of Alaska Anchorage where I studied Psychology and Neuroscience. I am in Daniel Hochbaum's Lab where I am currently studying the effect of T3 on Dopamine release in the tail of striatum during exploratory-like behavior. My research interests mostly lie at the intersection of neuroendocrinology and neural plasticity (I love hormones!!) To put myself through college I was a professional baker at a rustic bakeshop.
Outside of my studies I like to eat smashburgers and ice cream. If you can't reach me I'm probably doing yoga, biking or with my friends.
